- Robert Dakota
Creative Art Director
Robert Dakota is a graduate of the Zaki Gordon Institute for Independent Filmmakers. For the last 5 years Robert has been Director of Photography for One Heart Journeys with Drunvalo Melchizedek. His love for Mother Earth inspires his work in Visual Art and Multi-Media; his respect for the cultures and people he films infuses the documentaries he has created.
He focuses on recording experiences with indigenous cultures through ceremony, art music, dance and play. He has created many pieces featuring artists, ceremonialists', world innovators, elders, and unique travel journeys to sacred sites. Robert has shot in exotic locations like Peru, Japan, Bali, Indonesia, Hava Supai, Guatemala, El Salvador, Rapa Nui Easter Island Tahiti Moorea, Patagonia Chile, Maui Kauai, Aotearoa New Zealand, and California.
He is currently working on a documentary "Sacred Earth", a collaboration with visual artists Robert Sturman, Mika Feinberg, and National Geographic photographer Martin Gray - who's book Sacred Earth inspired the title for the documentary. Robert’s future projects include a documentary about the Bodhi Tree Educational Foundation and the many marvelous people involved with it.
Brett Rosen
Co-Founder and Executive Director
Brett Rosen is the co-founder and executive director of the Bodhi Tree Educational Foundation. Brett brings over 24 years of business leadership experience, and has been the CEO of Northern Naturals - an international natural products company - for over 15 years. Brett brings to the Bodhi Tree Educational Foundation a vision for developing scalable solutions to educational problems in India; an intense focus on results; and an ability to attract a world-class group of employees, volunteers, and investors to the Foundation’s projects. Brett focuses on long-term strategy, capital acquisition, public speaking, and media utilization. He has a dynamic ability to organize and implement effective strategies for helping others. Brett specializes in developing organizational teams that thrive on creativity and the rewards of helping human potential grow.
Sri Dwariko Sundarani
Co-Founder and Director of Program Development
Sri Dwariko Sundarani is the last living student of Mahatma Gandhi and he carries the Gandhian tradition with him to this modern day. Sundarani is also regarded as an ardent follower and heir to the wisdom of Vinoba Bhave – whom Gandhi choose in 1940 to be the first Individual Satyagrahi (an Individual standing up for Truth instead of a collective action) against the British rule, during a time or important transformation for the country of India.
He is one of the founders of Samanvay Ashram, which has a rich inception to translate the ideal of Gandhi and Vinoba's vision. His ashram has hosted personalities like J. Nehru, Martin Luther King Jr. II, His Holiness the Dalai Lama and many founding leaders of freedom movements.
