Poem By Bruce Anderson www.timeforrevolution.com

SHASKA of the Morning                      by Bruce, 2007

Shaska dances true by the Inca morning sun

Casting fluid shadows like poetry unspoken,

Ruins of the twilight awakening from slumber,

Haunting ancient memories of spirit are unbroken,

Eden’s kiss once holding down the princess of the dawn,

Now returning blessings where no prince fails to see,

Innocence of motion found forsaking shame now gone,

Woman rises from the ashes of man’s blind history,

Crossroads of the Nazca lines no coward dares to walk,

Dancing through the labyrinth her barefoot step remains,

Flowing gently to the center where guiding spirits talk,

Vortex of the starlight fading now her aches and pains,

While the world winds down in time you’re measured cool and calm,

Shaska of the morning sunrise won’t you dance for me,

Wounded healer of the senses cast your soothing balm,

Dance unto tomorrow when the spirit sets us free,
