Journey To The South West 09

This Journey was a good challenge for everyone who participated.
Vernon had just returned from the Sundance the night before we were to begin our journey together. Half of our group was Spanish speaking only and Patricia gracefully assumed the position of translator. It was very hot under the Sun of 110F or 43C. Vernon guided the journey with ceremony and informative narratives of customs, traditions as well as cultural practices. We found our unity at Hopi albeit in a form that we were not expecting. The highlight at least for me was the sunrise ceremony at the Grand Canyon with Vernon. It was a beautiful experience to share with
15 people dedicated to their journey.
