American Artist Sherab Khandro

Painter, sculptor, speaker and writer, it is Sherab Khandro's deepest wish to nourish and inspire the hearts of others through her work with spiritual arts. Formally trained by Tibetan masters, Sherab Khandro brings expression to the sacred through images from the Tibetan Buddhist tradition.
Using the neo-impressionist style of pointillism in her paintings, tiny dots of color create rich and vibrant imagery. With each stroke of the brush comes a prayer of compassion. Each dot, offered as a jeweled universe, a prayer to the Buddha to end suffering in the world.
Her sculptures can be seen as a part of sacred Buddhist monuments called stupas and in private collections. She served many years as the spiritual Arts director for Tibetan Buddhist centers in Maryland and Arizona.
Speaking and teaching on the nature of her work, her technique and it's impact both globally and personally, she engages and inspires groups large and small.
Fifteen years as a Buddhist nun in the Tibetan tradition she brings profound spiritual training to all of her work. She is committed to living from her heart and inspires others to do the same.

To date the destinations include: starting in Sedona, then going to NYC, Miami, LA, & Tokyo. This is an invitation to get involved in a movement through Alternative Media and Visionary Art. Sacred Earth “Her Story in the Making” is a Multi~Cultural~Media experience in Visionary Art. Designed from the title of my good friend, National Geographic Photographer Martin Gray’s book “Sacred Earth”, and the second half of the title “Her Story in the Making” coming from Robert Dakota’s 5 years of filming journeys with Drunvalo Melchizedek; journey’s to Peru, Japan, Bali, Southwest, New Zealand, Kauai, Maui, Guatemala, Easter Island, Tahiti, Moorea, and Patagonia. This is an Alternative Media experience and Documentary of journey’s to remote regions of the world documenting the landscapes, sacred sites, featuring interviews with women and elders. Having the purpose to inspire multi~cultural co-operation to initiate a New Earthly Planetary Culture utilizing the best attributes from all traditions and cultures to generate new perspectives by illuminating imagery from our Sacred Earth combined with the highest qualities of mankind found within Art.

The Winter Solstice is a powerful time for the forgiveness of debts - emotional, familial, financial and spiritual. The Winter Solstice provides the means to bring forth, in reality, the release of these burdens in a powerful ceremony that I offer on behalf of the People each year.

Robert Dakota and I have co-created an event that unites my own offering of Shamanic ceremony with Robert's media skills.
