I Am Principle

When we use the words ‘I am,’ in affirmations or through creative visualization, in essence what we are doing is speaking and affirming this reality into existence. We think, therefore we are. The ‘I Am,’ principle is so powerful because it is creation in its purest form. We become whatever we believe and hear ourselves say we are. Words carry with them a certain vibrational tone which has the ability to become reality. In the beginning was the word and the word was God and the word was with God. Words according to Merriam Webster Online are “the expressed or manifested mind and will of God.” The name word is derived from the Greek (logos) which is considered to be “the Divine wisdom of God manifest into creation.” Logos according to ancient Greek philosophy is the controlling principle in the Universe. Before there was anything, there was only the word which is sound. The vibration of sound is what was and is used to bring every manifested thing into being because vibration is a characteristic emanation, aura, or spirit that infuses or vitalizes someone or something that can be instinctively sensed or experienced in ones’ reality.
